How the order/delivery module works
We wanted to create an easy to use functionality within your digital menu for you as an administrator, as well as for your customers to reserve their meal for pick up.
The Home Order/Delivery module requires to be configured with the basic store information: opening hours, opening days and the delivery options available: pick up only, pick up and delivery etc.
The allowed payment method is also entered. By default our platform does not integrate payment gateway, but if the client needs it, it can be configured.
Once this information is configured within your digital menu, the customer can place his order comfortably.
The way it works is simple: the customer selects the "Place your order" option and can select those dishes or products in which he/she is interested.
Once the selection is completed, in the next step the customer provides his contact information and details about his order: delivery method, time and date of delivery, as well as additional comments about the order.
Once the order is placed, an email is sent to both the customer and the restaurant, informing them that the order is registered, but that it needs to be confirmed by the restaurant. This point is important, since it allows the restaurant to better control their orders and ensure that they are processed and the customer knows that they are working on it.
The restaurant confirms the order and a notification is sent to the customer, indicating that everything is on track.
